Dr. Joel Kerr aka Dr. J has over 16 years of experience in the clinical setting along with the amateur and professional sport setting as a manual medicine clinician and a movement, strength and sport performance enhancement coach.
With over 25 years of experience in the health & fitness industry, Dr. J has seen it all - he has helped people at their vulnerable points of poor health in search of answers to guide them in the right direction. Dr. J believes in educating and empowering his clients so they can make informed decisions about their health including their movement selection, mental preparation and nutrition to support their activities of daily living or competition in their respective sporting arena.
Providing strategies to clients to focus on the now and 'play' in the moment is the skill set Dr. J is able to offer with motor skill acquisition and cognitive behaviour techniques. Dr. J has earned a Bachelor of Physical Health and Education from the University of Toronto, and is a licensed Chiropractor with a Neurofunctional Acupuncturist diploma from McMaster Medical School.
